I think you're overthinking it tbh
I'm in the United States and I know a km are why would somebody not living in the states not know what miles are?
The Proclaimers leapt to mind: 'But I would walk 804.672 kilometres And I would walk 804.672 more, Just to be the man who walked 1609.344 kilometres, To fall down at your door.' :)
They use miles and miles per hour in the UK anyway.
We sure do. I was just being a tongue-in-cheek smart-arse. :) Stay safe.
18 miles is the name because 28.9km sounds bad.(distance between band members)
I thought they quitted?
Dutch here, and Mile, or mijl is still used, mostly in old sayings.
3 Inches of Blood is canadian.
It's a band name. They can make themselves whatever they want.
I'm in the US and could make a band and call it "Chinese Meter Deutschlander" if I wanted to.
So do you also think it's strange there's an American band called Pavement and not Sidewalk?
